November
20th Charlie Hall, a LCMC founding member, celebrated his
70th birthday Party. Charlie's sons barbecued the steaks and
chicken for all, while his daughter ensured all the country
fixins were lined up in the kitchen.

November
7th LCMC held their 15th Annual All Ford & Mustang Show
at the Carolina Ice Palace. With over 100 vehicles participating
on a great fall day with Stangs coming from as far away as
Raleigh, NC. The Horseshoes from Centaur Forge for 2nd &
3rd place were a big surprise and a big hit. All in all a
great show raising money for Camp Puff N Stuff.
September
26 6 LCMC members and friends made the trip to Maggie Valley,
NC for the 36th Fall Regional Shelby, Mustang & Ford Meet.
With 90 participating vehicles in a beautiful setting it was
a great meet with the exception of...RAIN!!!! all day. Friday
and Sunday was great Saturday ugh. Even though, it was a great
time and we brought home 2 -1st and a 2nd, considering we
only had 3 Stangs there, not bad.The trip to Harrahs Casino
Friday night was hopping and a lot of fun.
June
6 LCMC's Open 4th Annual Bridge Poker Run
Even
though there was a threat of rain all around, we never hit
any. It was an excellent day to cruise. The course was just
over 50 miles long with stops in Charleston, Sullivans Island
and Daniel's Island before heading back to Tanger Outlet for
prizes and then dinner at LaHacienda.

1 - 2 Roush Round Up
Concord, NC
Several members of LCMC made the journey to Concord, NC to
participate in the 2009 Roush Round Up. With dinner at the
Speedway Club, Lowes Motor Speedway, Racing at Motorsports
park and a tour of RoushFenway Racing Facility, not to mention
that over 70 vehicles in the Round Up Show it was a great
time. There was one mishap and that was a Roush Blackjack
& Trailer was stolen from the Hampton Inn parking lot,
fortunately it was recovered with minimum damage in Gastonia,
NC.

26 Lexington Show
18 LCMC & PSFC Members
caravanned to Lexington, SC for there 31st All Ford &
Mustang Show. After the show we stopped at Lizards Thicket
for Dinner before heading back to Charleston.
February
14th - Valentine's Day - LCMC
hosted the 5th annual Dinner & Dance at the North Charleston
Armory. With a fairly good turnout everyone enjoyed a BBQ
Dinner with all the fixins, good music and treated to a variety
of entertainment. Turned out to be alot more Country than
Rock & Roll ( even had an Indian Princess Amy)

January
3, 2009 - LCMC held their Christmas/New Party at Ken &
Sherry's home. With over 20 members and guests attending everyone
had a good time, with good food and friends. As always the
"Yankee gift swap" was the highlight of the evening.
After a few years hiatus of a Chia pet, what shows up not
1, but 2 Chia pets, congratulations Paula & Fred. There
was also a strange round yellow cord roller upper.

Annual LCMC Mustang & Ford Show
North Charleston,SC Nov. 3, 2008
After
a 5 year hiatus Low Country Mustang Club returned to their
roots, holding an ALL Ford & Mustang Show. With over 100
participants the show was a big success showing that the FORD
name and especially "Mustangs" are alive and well
in the Low Country.

Annual Central SC Mustang Club's Mustang/Ford Show
Lexington, SC 4/20/08
Members
of LCMC & PSFC caravanned to Lexington with 21 Mustangs
taking the club participation award. After the show most of
us stopped at Lizards Thicket for a country dinner before
heading back. It was a good time with fellow Mustangers.

Low Country Mustang Club's 2006 Christmas/New Years Party.
August 12, 2006
Low Country Mustang Club hosted South Carolina Education
Lottery and their "Million Dollar Second Chance Launch
Party" at Summerville Ford. Even though it was a wet
day, at times raining very hard, few people left. We had 38
Mustangs and Fords participate. Lottery Reps gave away some
really nice gifts, including Mustang throws & 4 leather
jackets. Summerville Ford provided the food and drinks for
all to enjoy and Q104.5 provided the music. Tara from the
SCEL did an excellent job, considering the weather. Congratulations
to the Grand Prize winner Anthony Koester, who won a $500
merchandise gift package.


April 23, 2006
Lexington Mustang and Ford Show
13 Mustangs from LCMC caravaned to the show early Sunday
morning. All participating "Stangs" came home with
awards including the 2 from Charlotte and also LCMC left with
the club participation award. Congratulations to all, we received
our awards from none other than Ronald McDonald himself, in
support of the Ronald McDonald house of Columbia. On the way
back we stopped at the Lizard Thicket for supper, before making
the long drive back.
