With over 150 vehicles participating in the Spring Spin Off

Low Country Mustang Club's 2006 Christmas/New Years Party.
August 12, 2006
Low Country Mustang Club hosted South Carolina Education
Lottery and their "Million Dollar Second Chance Launch
Party" at Summerville Ford. Even though it was a wet
day, at times raining very hard, few people left. We had 38
Mustangs and Fords participate. Lottery Reps gave away some
really nice gifts, including Mustang throws & 4 leather
jackets. Summerville Ford provided the food and drinks for
all to enjoy and Q104.5 provided the music. Tara from the
SCEL did an excellent job, considering the weather. Congratulations
to the Grand Prize winner Anthony Koester, who won a $500
merchandise gift package.

The Low Country Mustang Club hosted the 1st Annual
Armed Forces Day "Bridge" Poker Run. We had
18 vehicles and 35 participants. The run included going over
the Burnet-Maybank, James Island Connector, Ravenel, Ben Sawyer,
Isle of Palms Connector, James B. Edwards and the Don Holt
bridges. We made stops at Brittlebank Park, Fort Moultrie
and Family Circle Tennis Stadium. With only a few bumps in
the road "trying to find a Food Lion which was actually
a Publix", everything went smoothly. It was an excellent
day to cruise and enjoy the Charleston sights from the various
vantage points. Congratulations to Apollo (Best hand), Emily
(2nd best) and Jason (worst hand).

April 23, 2006
Lexington Mustang and Ford Show
13 Mustangs from LCMC caravaned to the show early Sunday
morning. All participating "Stangs" came home with
awards including the 2 from Charlotte and also LCMC left with
the club participation award. Congratulations to all, we received
our awards from none other than Ronald McDonald himself, in
support of the Ronald McDonald house of Columbia. On the way
back we stopped at the Lizard Thicket for supper, before making
the long drive back.

April 15, 2006
Members of the Low
Country Mustang Club and Central Mustang Club met in Springfield,
SC for the 40th Annual Frog Jump Parade and Festival. With
16 Mustangs in the parade ranging in years from 1965 - 2006,
"The Mustang" was well represented. After the parade
everyone met at Dave and Libby's house in Springfield for
lunch and socializing. A big MUSTANG thank you to
Dave and Libby for being so gracious and opening their home.
It was a very nice day to cruise and enjoy friendship from
the mid state.
